The management of Trust Bank today, December 8, 2022, presented building items for the renovation of the medical ward of the Basse District Hospital, worth over D200,000, as part of the bank’s annual presentation to health facilities across the country.
Speaking at the presentation, the Deputy Managing Director of Trust Bank said their corporate social responsibility program is grounded on the principles of sharing and caring.
“At Trust Bank, we firmly believe in doing the right thing not only for our employees and customers but also for our communities. Our values are aligned with values that are important to our customers and communities, and we are firmly committed to helping Gambians across many areas but most especially in the area of health.
“Giving is core to our culture at Trust Bank, but please note that this presentation today comes not only with items of monetary value, but even more special to us is the love and appreciation we have brought along from the Trust Bank family to the patients and staff of Basse District Hospital and the people of URR,” he said.
He added that Trust Bank is looking forward to continuing their relationship and will be visiting the people of Basse, especially the Basse District Hospital, for many more years to come.
Ebrima, the regional director of health, assures the gathering that Trust Bank’s support for the hospital will not go to waste and that work will begin immediately.
The head of the medical ward, Lamin Trawally, thanks Trust Bank for the kind gesture they rendered to the hospital.
