The Banjul International Surgical Conference is a leading scientific event geared toward showcasing surgical procedures and the exchange of up-to-date knowledge in all surgical disciplines, ranging from pediatric surgery, orthopedics, and orology surgery, to name a few.
The conference is organized and hosted by Edward Fransis Small Teaching Hospital in partnership with the University of the Gambia and the postgraduate office in Banjul, with over 250 national and international delegates, some of whom are doctors, nurses, and medical students. It was a very successful one, as very high-profile speakers attended and gave their very best on the theme for all to benefit from.
As part of our contribution and commitment to the improvement and promotion of quality health care delivery in this country, which is also in line with our CSR policy, the bank donated D150,000.
The event was attended by the chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Omar Jah, together with his colleague surgical doctors, the head of marketing and business development at Trust Bank, Mr. Alex Alasan Gomez, and staff of Trust Bank, amongst others.
