The management of Trust Bank on Friday, December 9, 2022, presented items to the pediatric ward of the Bansang General Hospital worth over 250,000 dalasis as part of the bank’s annual presentation to health facilities across the country.
Speaking at the presentation, the Deputy Managing Director of Trust Bank, Omar Mboob, said that the bank’s support for the Bansang Hospital, responsible for providing health care to the people of the central river region and beyond, is both longstanding and steadfast.
“Since our partnership started, we have donated generously to support the laboratory unit and other units to enable Bansang Hospital to make great strides in improving healthcare delivery to the main referral hospital in this region.”
The bank also took the opportunity to adopt the pediatric unit of the Bansang General Hospital.
“Today we are here not only to deliver a donation of medical items but also, most importantly, to adopt the pediatric unit of Bansang Hospital. We are deeply honored by this new partnership and the responsibilities it comes with. “It is our hope that this partnership will enable the hospital to deliver quality pediatric healthcare services to the people of the central river region,” said Omar Mboob.
The Hospital Administrator, Burama Badjie Said, Trust Bank has been supporting the Bansang hospital for three years now
” Bansang Hospital had opened all its Bank accounts with trust Trust Bank because of their Excellent Services. The Management of Trust Bank had approved our request to come and pay our staff in the hospital. Furthermore, each year This excellent Bank provides significant amount of money to support the hospital.
He added that the Management of Bansang Hospital received with joy after hearing the news of the Bank’s readiness to adopt the pediatric Unit
“After the the unveiling today the ward would now be referred to as Trust Bank Ward”
The Governor of West Coast Region, Ousman Bah, thank Trust Bank for the kind gesture they rendered to hospital and assures the gathering that The donated Items will be put in to good use.
The Items donated to the Hospital include:
1 Oxygen Concentrator, five Electronic Thermometers, five Pulse Oxo meter, among others.
